Aviator College accepts applications throughout the year.

Although not required, Campus visits and interviews with admission counselors. before enrollment, are highly recommended. All candidates are reviewed for admission, to determine a student’s ability to complete their studies.

Acceptance requirements are as follows:

Domestic Students

  • Applicant must complete the online application form and choose the AMT Program and pay the $50.00 deposit
  • Must be seventeen (17) years of age or older at the time of enrollment and eighteen (18) years or age at the time of Aviation Maintenance Technician certification
  • Applicants for Puerto Rico must submit transcripts for evaluation and may need to take an English Proficiency test; please refer to the catalog. 
  • Proof of Citizenship a color copy of a valid passport OR driver license AND birth certificate
  • Proof of funds

International Students

  • Applicant must complete the online application form and choose the AMT Program

  • Must be seventeen (17) years of age or older at the time of enrollment and eighteen (18) years of age at the time of Aviation

  • Maintenance Technician certification – Proof of high school graduation in the form of official high school transcripts with a GPA of 2.0 (or equivalent) that will need to be translated and evaluated or 70% OR GED

  • Proof of Citizenship – a color copy of a valid passport OR driver license AND birth certificate

  • Demonstrate proficiency in the English language through the TOEFL, TOEIC or IELTS, if not from an exempt English speaking country.

  • Once the application for admission is received and all required admissions documents submitted and verified, a M-1 or F1 1-20 will be mailed to the student and the student will need to make an appointment with the U.S. Embassy to receive their VISA.

  • Hold a VISA acceptable to the United States and appropriate for specified training.
