Admissions Requirements

Aviator College accepts applications throughout the year.

 

Although not required, Campus visits and interviews with admission counselors, before enrollment, are highly recommended. All candidates are reviewed for admission, to determine a student’s ability to complete their studies.

 

Acceptance requirements are as follows:

 

Domestic Students

  • Applicant must complete the online application form at https://app.aviator.edu/ and choose the AMT Program and pay the $50.00 deposit. 

  • Must be seventeen (17) years of age or older at the time of enrollment and eighteen (18) years of age at the time of Aviation Maintenance Technician certification

  • Proof of high school graduation in the form of official high school transcripts with a GPA of 2.0 or 70% OR GED

  • Proof of Citizenship – a color copy of a valid passport OR a driver license AND birth certificate

  • Demonstrate proficiency in the English language through the TOEFL, TOEIC or IELTS, if not from an exempt English speaking country.

  • Proof of funds.

       Applicant must complete the online application form at https://app.aviator.edu/ and choose the AMT Program

  • Must be seventeen (17) years of age or older at the time of enrollment and eighteen (18) years of age at the time of Aviation Maintenance Technician certification

  • Proof of high school graduation in the form of official high school transcripts with a GPA of 2.0 (or equivalent)  that will need to be translated and evaluated or 70% OR GED

  • Proof of Citizenship – a color copy of a valid passport OR a driver license AND birth certificate

  • Demonstrate proficiency in the English language through the TOEFL, TOEIC or IELTS, if not from an exempt English speaking country.

  • Once the application for admission is received and all required admissions documents submitted and verified a M-1or F1 I-20 will be mailed to the student and the student will need to make an appointment with the U.S. Embassy to receive their VISA. For more Information regarding SEVIS, please refer to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) website www.ice.gov/sevis.

       Hold a VISA acceptable to the United States and appropriate for specified training.
